Patch Testing

Tatti Lashes/Nouveau Adhesive Patch Testing

This is a test for lash extensions to make sure you do not have any adverse reactions to your eyelash adhesive.

  • We’ll apply a small amount of lash adhesive to just three individual eyelashes using a micropore brush, on the outer corners of one eye and allow 24 hours to see if any reaction occurs. If you don't experience a reaction such as, itchiness, swelling or any discomfort,  you should be fine to use the semi-permanent lash adhesive. 

HD Brows Patch Testing

This is for brow/lash tinting and brow lamination to make sure you do not have any adverse reactions to your eyelash adhesive.

  • Patch tests must be left on skin for at least 48 hours and kept dry

  • Patch tests should be applied on the inside of the arm and covered with an hypoallergenic plaster or micropore tape

  • Patch tests should be carried out by a professional stylist where possible 

  • Patch tests should be carried out on new clients only and those returning after 6 months (or with changes in medical condition) for both HD Brows and BrowSculpt

  • Any changes at site of patch test must be reported to salon professional as soon as possible

  • Tint patch tests must not be carried out on someone that has previously had a reaction to PPD or black henna tattoos

Dermalogica Patch Testing

Please note that some Dermalogica professional grade products require patch testing prior to service. Your skin therapist maintains the right to cancel or defer treatment if it is deemed inadvisable to proceed due to specific contraindication.

  • Minimum of 24 hours prior to service but up to several weeks in advanced
